Wearable Art, Local Heart

The Grá is an English-Irish expression; if you do something you truly love, you say you're doing it for The Grá; for the love of it. That's what we are about and that is why we created this store. Based in Dublin’s Temple Bar, we work with local creatives on designs, we print everything on site in our store in Temple Bar. Our aim is to make t-shirts that are not only design driven but that have sustainability at the core. We use a mix of organic cotton, recycled materials or heavy weight cottons so that they look just as good in 5 years as they do the day you first put them on. Our goals are to build a community that gives back, we support everything from local creators to international charities and everything in-between.

Environmental and Social Impact

Our T-shirts are made on request so there is no waste, this is a key differentiator for us as we hold little to no stock. In that way we have less waste and less impact on the environment. Our inks are always water based, our packaging is compostable and we adhere to the highest global standards in our apparel. Each T-shirt is different but you will clearly see why we chose that product on the product description page. We look for accreditations such as PETA approved Vegan, Fair Labour Association, FairWear, Standard100 by OEKO-TEX and GOTS Organic Cotton.

What's Sweeter Still

Because great design deserves great taste, we’ve partnered with Muchgrange Farm in the Cooley Peninsula. This is as a fourth-generation family-run dairy farm. Since the beginning, they've been dedicated to delivering top-quality fresh pasteurised milk that is environmental sustainability and take great care for the welfare and treatment of their animals. Importantly it tastes great.
